By using this website or submitting a request, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

1. Website information

The information on this website is provided for general guidance about Auto-Fix services.

Auto-Fix aims to keep its service descriptions, contact details and business information accurate. However, website information may be updated, corrected or changed without prior notice.

Images used on the website may be illustrative and may not show the exact vehicle, part, workshop process or service provided.

2. Website enquiries

Submitting a contact form, booking request, quotation request or fleet-service enquiry does not automatically create a confirmed appointment or binding service agreement.

A request submitted through the website is received for review by the Auto-Fix team.

Auto-Fix may contact the customer to:

  • Confirm the submitted details
  • Request additional vehicle information
  • Discuss the reported problem
  • Confirm workshop availability
  • Explain inspection requirements
  • Arrange a suitable date and time

3. Booking requests

A preferred date or time selected through the website is not automatically confirmed.

A booking becomes confirmed only after Auto-Fix contacts the customer and accepts the requested appointment.

Workshop availability may depend on:

  • Current workshop workload
  • Vehicle type
  • Required service
  • Technician availability
  • Parts availability
  • Inspection or diagnostic requirements

Customers should not bring a vehicle to the workshop based only on an online submission unless Auto-Fix has confirmed the booking.

4. Vehicle information

Customers should provide accurate information where possible, including:

  • Vehicle make and model
  • Vehicle year
  • Registration number
  • Mileage
  • Warning lights
  • Vehicle symptoms
  • Previous repairs
  • Relevant service history

Auto-Fix is not responsible for delays or inaccurate initial guidance caused by incomplete or incorrect information supplied by the customer.

5. Quotations and estimates

Website quotation requests do not automatically create final quotations.

An initial estimate may be based on the information provided by the customer. A physical inspection, diagnostic test or component examination may be required before a final quotation is confirmed.

The final price may change because of:

  • Additional faults discovered during inspection
  • Incorrect or incomplete customer information
  • Changes in parts prices
  • Parts availability
  • Additional labour requirements
  • Vehicle modifications
  • Previous unsuccessful repairs
  • Hidden damage, corrosion or deterioration

Any significant change should be explained to the customer before additional work proceeds.

6. Customer approval

Auto-Fix will seek customer approval before carrying out additional work outside the agreed service or quotation.

Approval may be provided through:

  • Written confirmation
  • Email
  • WhatsApp
  • Telephone confirmation
  • Signed workshop documentation

Customers will not be charged for unrelated additional work that they did not request or approve.

7. Diagnostic work

A diagnostic scan may identify stored fault codes or affected systems, but it may not always identify the exact failed component.

Further testing, dismantling or inspection may be required.

Diagnostic charges may apply separately from repair charges.

Clearing a warning light does not mean the underlying fault has been repaired.

8. Parts and materials

Auto-Fix may use:

  • Original parts
  • Approved replacement parts
  • Quality aftermarket parts
  • Suitable oils, filters, fluids and consumables

Available options should be discussed with the customer where relevant.

Parts availability may affect:

  • Service dates
  • Completion times
  • Final costs
  • Vehicle collection times

Removed parts may be disposed of unless the customer asks to retain them before work begins, subject to safety and environmental requirements.

9. Service completion times

Any completion time provided before or during a service is an estimate.

Completion may be delayed because of:

  • Additional faults
  • Parts availability
  • Supplier delays
  • Vehicle condition
  • Specialist work
  • Power or equipment interruptions
  • Workshop workload
  • Circumstances outside Auto-Fix’s reasonable control

Auto-Fix will communicate significant delays where practical.

10. Vehicle collection

Customers should collect their vehicles after being informed that the work is complete.

Before the vehicle is released, the customer may be required to:

  • Review the completed work
  • Settle the outstanding amount
  • Sign relevant workshop documents
  • Collect vehicle keys and supplied items

Vehicles that remain uncollected for an extended period may be subject to storage arrangements or charges, provided these are communicated to the customer in advance.

11. Payment

Auto-Fix may accept payment by:

  • Cash
  • Bank transfer
  • Mobile payment
  • Card payment
  • Approved business-account arrangements

Unless agreed otherwise, payment is due when the work is completed and before the vehicle is released.

Fleet and business-account payment terms may be governed by a separate written agreement.

12. Deposits and special-order parts

Auto-Fix may require a deposit before:

  • Ordering special parts
  • Beginning high-cost repairs
  • Reserving specialised work
  • Carrying out work for a new business account

The deposit amount and applicable conditions should be explained before payment.

Special-order parts may not be refundable after ordering unless the supplier accepts the return or the part is defective.

13. Workmanship and parts warranty

Any warranty offered by Auto-Fix should be stated on the quotation, invoice or workshop document.

Warranty coverage may vary depending on:

  • The service performed
  • The part manufacturer
  • The type of replacement part
  • The vehicle’s condition
  • Vehicle use
  • Mileage
  • Time since repair

A warranty may not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Customer misuse
  • Accident damage
  • Unrelated faults
  • Unauthorised modifications
  • Repairs carried out elsewhere
  • Continued driving after a warning or fault appears
  • Customer-supplied parts, unless otherwise agreed

14. Customer-supplied parts

Auto-Fix may accept or refuse customer-supplied parts.

Where customer-supplied parts are accepted:

  • Auto-Fix may charge labour separately
  • Auto-Fix may not provide a warranty for the supplied part
  • Delays caused by an incorrect part may result in additional labour or storage charges
  • The customer remains responsible for the suitability and quality of the part

15. Existing vehicle condition

Auto-Fix is not responsible for pre-existing damage, faults or deterioration unrelated to the authorised work.

Where practical, visible pre-existing concerns may be recorded before work begins.

Older vehicles, modified vehicles and vehicles with previous repair attempts may require additional inspection, labour and testing.

16. Road testing

Auto-Fix may need to road-test the vehicle before or after repairs to:

  • Confirm reported symptoms
  • Check completed work
  • Assess handling, braking or performance
  • Verify warning lights or operating conditions

By leaving the vehicle for service, the customer authorises reasonable road testing related to the requested work.

17. Personal belongings

Customers should remove money, documents and valuable personal items before leaving the vehicle at the workshop.

Auto-Fix is not responsible for personal property left inside the vehicle unless loss or damage results directly from proven misconduct by Auto-Fix personnel.

18. Website links and third-party services

The website may contain links to third-party platforms, including:

  • Google Maps
  • WhatsApp
  • Facebook
  • Instagram
  • Payment services
  • External supplier or partner websites

Auto-Fix is not responsible for the content, availability, security or privacy practices of third-party platforms.

19. Website availability

Auto-Fix does not guarantee that the website will always operate without interruption or technical error.

The website may be temporarily unavailable because of:

  • Maintenance
  • Hosting issues
  • Security updates
  • Internet outages
  • Plugin or software problems
  • Events outside Auto-Fix’s control

Customers may contact Auto-Fix by telephone or WhatsApp when an online form is unavailable.

20. Limitation of website liability

Auto-Fix is not responsible for losses caused solely by reliance on general website information without a vehicle inspection or confirmed workshop assessment.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to exclude customer rights or business obligations that cannot legally be excluded.

21. Complaints

Customers should raise concerns as soon as possible after receiving the vehicle.

To submit a complaint, provide:

  • Customer name
  • Contact details
  • Vehicle information
  • Invoice or job reference
  • Description of the concern
  • Supporting photos or documents, where relevant

Auto-Fix should be given a reasonable opportunity to inspect the vehicle and review the complaint before repairs are carried out elsewhere.

22. Electronic communication

Customers may communicate with Auto-Fix through website forms, email, telephone and WhatsApp.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the contact information they provide is accurate and accessible.

Electronic messages, confirmations and approvals may be retained as part of the workshop’s service and communication records.

23. Privacy

Personal information submitted through the website is handled according to the Auto-Fix Privacy Policy.

24. Changes to these terms

Auto-Fix may update these Terms and Conditions when its services, pricing procedures, website features, workshop procedures or legal requirements change.

The latest version will be published on this page with an updated date.

25. Governing law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the applicable laws of the Republic of Mozambique.
